R. HARIKUMAR KEEPS HIS WORD ; COVID DOMICILARY CARE CENTRE OPENED ON TUESDAY

DUBAI : COVID 19 domiciliary care centre, the preparation efforts of which was spearheaded by expatriate businessman from UAE, Mr. R Harikumar, was open for public use on Tuesday. The centre is meant to serve as an aid for the commoners during the second wave of covid-19. Mr Harikumar donated the enterprise with his wife’s name, “Kala tourist home” for the purpose. The inauguration of the centre located in the North Ambalappuzha village was done by H. Salam MLA. It has a capacity of 50 beds 10 among which have oxygen facilities and the full-time service of nurses and volunteers. Mr S. Harris the Panchayat president informed that people who are tested positive but do not show considerable symptoms, as well as are unable to stay at home will be provided shelter at the centre.
