Dubai : Indian Consulate informed that the Indian Pavilion of Expo 2020 will have its finishing touches by next month. The information was provided in the reports came up after the meeting of the representatives, Mr. S. Kishore, Indian Commerce and Commissioner General Additional Secretary, Mr. Pawan Kapoor, Indian Ambassador and Consul general Aman Puri, with Reem Al Hashmi, deputy minister of International Co Operations as well as the Director General of the Expo.
After the meeting, they also visited the Indian Pavilion. The construction was begun in 2019, and is now in its last steps of construction. The basic structure of the Pavilion, which is almost 8736 square meters, is ready, and the interior design works will be completed in two weeks. It will show case the milestones, the nation have crossed in the past 75 years. Special programs will also be conducted on days like Diwali and Holi. The minister also spoke about the sound relationship between India and UAE.
"The relationship between both the countries will be fostered, and maximum facilities will be provided in the expo." - said Mr. S. Kishore, after the meeting with representatives including Omar Shohada, Chief International Participation Officer, as well as the forum of Indian Entrepreneurs.
