A Pioneer Who Built a Legacy in Education, in Ajman, UAE.

The Lazar Group and the North Point Education Group of Schools mourn the passing of their beloved Founder, Mr. Daniel Lazar, an engineer, entrepreneur, educator, and visionary whose life transformed the educational landscape of the Northern Emirates.

On 8th April 1968, a young engineer from Pune left the security of his position with TATA Company and embarked on a courageous journey to the United Arab Emirates on a small boat from Gujarat. After a perilous ten-day voyage across the Arabian Sea, he reached the shores of Khor Fakkan. It was a journey marked by uncertainty, hardship, and faith – one that would shape the course of his life. That courageous voyage marked the beginning of a remarkable life dedicated to hard work, service, and a vision of providing affordable & quality education ensuring that excellence remained accessible to every child in Ajman.

Upon arriving in the UAE, Mr. Daniel began working in the power sector, working tirelessly and earning the respect of those around him through his honesty, discipline, and dedication. His professional success, however, was only the beginning. His greatest dream was to build something meaningful for future generations. And he believed to achieve those dreams that took shape in the form of The Lazar Group and, most importantly, now North Point Education, an institution founded on values, knowledge, and humanity.

Driven by a deep belief in the transformative power of education, he went on to establish The Lazar Group and lay the foundations of what is today the North Point Education Group of Schools, an entity with 3 schools; The Royal Academy, Ajman, The Bloomington Academy, Ajman, and The Hope English School, Sharjah.

He believed that education was about more than academic achievement, it was about nurturing values, character, and opportunity. He often said, "Teaching children gives me happiness. Watching them grow into successful individuals is the greatest reward of my life." That belief became the guiding principle of the institutions he built, touching the lives of thousands of students, families, and educators over the decades.

Mr. Daniel's gratitude to the UAE remained unwavering throughout his life. The nation that welcomed him became his home and the place where his dreams became reality. He repaid that trust by dedicating his life to serving its communities through education. His message to young people was simple: "Pursue your dreams with passion. Work with honesty and dedication. Success will follow."

Mr. Daniel Lazar's presence may no longer be with us, but his values, vision, and unwavering commitment to education will continue to inspire generations. His legacy lives on in every student nurtured, every educator empowered, and every life transformed through the institutions he founded.

Our beloved Founder, Mr. Daniel Lazar leaves behind a family legacy in his son, Mr. Lanson Lazar, Chairman of the Group, and his daughter, Ms. Lincy Lazar.

Today, that legacy continues under the leadership of his son, Mr. Lanson Lazar, Chairman of the North Point Education Group of Schools, who carries forward his beloved father's vision with the same commitment to educational excellence, integrity, and service.
