Dubai – In a heartfelt tribute, Adv. Shyam P Prabhu, a renowned UAE-based business consultant and philanthropist, shared the profound experience of meeting Pope Francis, whom he reverently calls the Apostle of World Peace. Shyam is the Founder and Managing Director of Orion Business Consultancy, with operations in both Dubai and Sharjah.

Recollecting the moments spent with the Pontiff, Adv. Shyam said,

"I consider it one of the greatest privileges of my life to have spent time with His Holiness Pope Francis, the head of the global Catholic Church, and to converse with him in Italian."

The meeting took place on November 30, 2024, at the Basilica of the Holy See in the Vatican, where Adv. Shyam, representing Sivagiri Math, was part of a special delegation of esteemed monks and spiritual leaders.

As the Pope entered the gathering hall, his radiant smile and uplifting energy captivated everyone. He warmly greeted each person individually and offered heartfelt blessings.

"When my turn came, I presented him a small token of love," said Adv. Shyam. "I attempted to speak a few lines in Italian, which delighted him. When I held his holy hands, I felt an immense spiritual joy. It was as if a divine aura surrounded him."

During the meeting, Adv. Shyam also had the honor of conveying the message of Sree Narayana Guru, shared during the 100th anniversary of the World Conference of All Religions held in Aluva. He shared Guru's powerful words:

"It is not to argue and win, but to know and inform," and

"The essence of all religions is one."

He expressed deep pride in presenting these thoughts at the Vatican before the global spiritual leader.

Reflecting on the impact of Pope Francis, Adv. Shyam said:

"Pope Francis has always stood as a global symbol of peace and compassion. He is truly the Apostle of World Peace. His presence is a blessing to humanity, and his eventual loss will be an irreplaceable void in the hearts of millions around the world."
